German Taurolock antiseptic and anticoagulant solution is used to varnish catheters instead of heparin varnish. This solution can prevent infection of various catheters such as permanent hemodialysis catheter (premic), temporary hemodialysis catheter (Chaldon), central vein catheter (CVC), chemotherapy port catheter, etc. and also prevent chelation and blockage of the catheter.

Uses:

·       Taurolock solution is used for a variety of vascular catheters made of silicon or polyurethane.

·       Taurolock solution is known as Catheter Lock Solution and is a good alternative to heparin lock.

·        Taurolock solution is used to prevent catheter infection (CRBSI) as a prophylaxis and in case of infection in the catheter as therapeutic.
